The sliding contact line is a power transmission device that supplies power to moving equipment. It is used to supply power to moving equipment and consists of two parts: the slide rail (fixed part, connected to the power source, usually made of single lengths of 4m or 6m connected together) and the current collector (sliding part, which can slide on or inside the slide rail and contact the copper strip to collect electricity, used to connect to the moving motor). The main types are single-pole aluminum sliding contact lines, single-pole copper sliding contact lines, steel body sliding contact lines, multi-pole tubular sliding contact lines, seamless sliding contact lines, copper contact wires, and other common sliding contact lines. Single-pole sliding contact lines, multi-pole tubular sliding contact lines, and seamless sliding contact lines are safe sliding contact lines, while steel body sliding contact lines are non-safe sliding contact lines.
Technical points to note for installation
1. The centerline of the sliding contact line should ultimately be parallel to the travel track of the equipment. In some sites, the travel track of the moving equipment has a regular deviation, and the travel track is not parallel to the rail. Therefore, in such sites, it is not possible to require straightness for the sliding line installation. When installing the hanging clamps, it is an efficient way to tighten the bolts after a trial run of the equipment.
2. In some sites, the angle steel brackets cannot be installed at standard intervals. It is necessary to check whether the distance between the joint protective cover, the power input protective cover, and the angle steel brackets meets the safety requirements for free expansion and contraction. If the distance exceeds the required size, the guide rod should be cut.
