Single-pole Trolley Wire Maintenance
Single-pole trolley wire should be inspected regularly during normal operation, because electrical equipment is the main production tool for every industrial and mining enterprise, and any slight error will directly affect the production efficiency of the factory. When inspecting the trolley wire, check whether the joints every 6 meters are loose or detached. When inspecting the current collector, check whether the moving parts rotate flexibly, whether the tension spring is fatigued, and the wear of the carbon brush (these conditions will affect the conductive performance of the trolley wire and the tracking performance of the current collector. Adjustments should be made in a timely manner).
During holiday equipment overhaul periods, detach the current collector from the conduit and check the wear of the current collector's carbon brush and rollers. If the brush protrusion is less than the specified effective length, replace it promptly. If the guide rollers are severely deformed, they also need to be replaced to maintain normal operation of the current collector and good contact of the carbon brush, and to identify the causes. Among all components of the safety trolley wire, the carbon brush is the only part that normally wears out.
For environments with severely corrosive gases, it is also necessary to check the corrosion of brackets, suspension clamps, and tractors; and take timely measures to apply anti-rust materials. At the place where the trolley wire is used, if construction is underway, do not impact or press the conduit, and never place heavy objects on the conduit to prevent deformation or cracking, which would affect use and cause safety accidents. After construction is completed, immediately clean the construction debris from the conduit. During normal maintenance of the single-pole trolley wire, personnel are not allowed to step on the conduit or its brackets to prevent damaging the flatness of the entire line and causing accidents.
