The crane sliding contact line, also known as sliding contact line or safety sliding contact line, is used to supply power to moving equipment. It consists of two parts: the sliding rail (fixed part, connected to the power source, usually made of single rails of 4.5m/piece or 6m/piece connected together) and the current collector (sliding part, which can slide on or inside the sliding rail and contact the copper bar to collect electricity, used to connect with the moving motor).
Commonly used are safety sliding contact lines (tubular, enclosed), busbar sliding contact lines, rigid sliding contact lines, single-pole sliding contact lines, etc. They have significant improvements in protection level and insulation, making them safe and reliable.
Safety sliding contact line——used in dusty, humid environments, can be equipped with dust-proof sealing strips and hand protection (when the sliding contact line is very close to people, hand protection is required, such as AKAPP). The current collector speed is less than 300 meters/minute.
QYG multi-pole sliding contact line——easy to install, fast, simple and compact structure, safe and reliable, easy to maintain.
QYT rigid sliding contact line——used for high-current equipment, with current up to several thousand amperes. Widely used in high temperature, high humidity, high voltage, strong corrosion, heavy dust and other environments.
QYH single-pole sliding contact line——combined according to different numbers of poles, current can also reach thousands of amperes.
The quality of sliding contact lines can be measured according to the following standards:
1. Carbon brush service life--it is a consumable item, and the travel distance affects the equipment maintenance cycle.
2. (Crane sliding contact line) Shell quality of sliding contact line--applicable temperature, environment, etc.
3. Current collector performance--mainly from the wheel service life, turning wheel design, and whether the current collector can be used in various environments.
4. Expansion issue of sliding contact line--when the length exceeds 100 meters, expansion must be considered.
5. Voltage drop issue--varies according to the length of different copper bars.
