As one of the indispensable accessories in the sliding line transmission system, the quality requirements, technical requirements, and safety requirements of safety sliding contact lines are also constantly improving. It is made of high-insulation, high-strength industrial plastics, aluminum alloys, copper strips, and other metal materials. During use, it can be well adjusted in the vertical or horizontal direction, with an adjustment range of more than 100 degrees, realizing the movement and adjustment of the current collector, enabling the current collector to always maintain contact with the carbon brush during the sliding line transmission process, ensuring that the sliding line transmission system does not have the risk of power outage, and making the entire sliding line transmission system continuously meet the power supply requirements. So, how can we choose the appropriate safety sliding contact line?
Choose single-pole sliding contact lines
When choosing a single-pole sliding contact line as the power supply line, the conductor of the single-pole sliding contact line adopts an H-shaped design with a deeper inner groove, making it difficult for the collector to fall off and cause power outages.
2. Choose heavy-duty sliding contact lines.
Although the power of the gantry crane is relatively small, it is recommended to choose a sliding contact line above 630A. Because the gantry crane moves violently, the mechanical strength requirements for the sliding contact line are relatively high, and the conductor cross-sectional area of the heavy-duty sliding contact line is larger, using a single-hole hanger as the fixed frame, which can meet the strength requirements.
3. Selection of installation methods for trolley lines.
The gantry crane is used outdoors. There are two installation methods: one is overhead installation, and the other is trench installation.
Choosing the appropriate specification and model of sliding contact line requires not only considering the overall condition of the equipment but also the application environment. The connecting rod of the safety sliding contact line is made of special aluminum alloy material. After high-strength corrosion-resistant testing and processing, the surface also has anti-aging, corrosion-resistant, and rust-proof insulating paint, allowing it to work normally in most harsh environments. The spring is also made of high-strength, corrosion-resistant stainless steel material, with stable performance, and will not have fault backflow, causing the collector to fail to work normally. It can effectively prevent risks such as arc stringing and power outages.
