Common Accessories and Methods for Sliding Contact Line Connection
A sliding contact line is a new type of power supply system that feeds power to moving mechanical equipment. The conductor is made of specially formulated aluminum alloy profiles. Its outer protective sheath is made of special PVC material, providing insulation and protection with an IP23 rating, offering rainproof, dustproof, and anti-static safety functions. With a simple structure and easy installation and maintenance, it is durable and widely used for power supply to moving equipment in mines, metallurgy, chemical, machinery, docks, freight yards, and other places.
Check the composition of sliding contact line accessories, accessories include sliding contact lines, current collectors, protective sheaths, aluminum conductors, hanging clamps, aluminum connectors, connector sheaths, angle steel brackets, and power input. Check the appearance of the sliding contact line for any bending. Check whether the joints have been treated for wear resistance, and check whether the steel strip on the conductor is pressed tightly and flatly. Check whether the slot on the sliding contact line can fit with the screw holes on the connecting plate. If it is too tight to install, you can use a pry bar to open it, but do not open it too wide to avoid falling off.
Check the current collector, check whether the connecting parts are loose, whether the movement between parts is smooth, and whether the spring pressure is correct. Check the hanging frame, check its hardness and toughness, and the tightness of the connecting parts. According to the installation plan, design the installation position of the sliding contact line, and number the required sliding lines and accessories according to the design positions. Sliding line M: Sometimes the sliding line is divided due to the length or span of the workshop. Generally, we should number the divided parts for later use.
Fix the angle steel brackets. The fixing distance for light type is 1.2M, and for heavy type I is 2.4M. (Light series sliding contact line A, heavy type I series sliding contact line: First install the hanging clamps on the angle steel brackets with the same spacing, and one connector sheath for each of the two terminal joints. For each sliding line, connect one aluminum connector at one end. When connecting the aluminum connector, note that only half of the aluminum connector should be inserted into the aluminum conductor, leaving the other half for connection with another aluminum conductor.
