Single-stage Combined Busbar



   The safety busbar should be inspected regularly during normal operation, because electrical equipment is the main production tool for every industrial and mining enterprise, and any slight error can directly affect the production efficiency of the factory. When inspecting the busbar, check whether the joints every 6 meters are loose or detached. When inspecting the current collector, check whether the moving parts rotate flexibly, whether the tension spring is fatigued, and the wear of the carbon brush (these conditions can affect the conductivity of the busbar and the tracking performance of the current collector. Adjustments should be made promptly).    During holiday equipment overhauls, detach the current collector from the conduit and check the wear of the carbon brush and rollers. If the carbon brush protrusion is less than the specified effective length, replace it promptly. If the guide rollers are severely deformed, they also need to be replaced to maintain normal operation of the current collector and good contact of the carbon brush, and to identify the cause. Among all components of the safety busbar, the carbon brush is the component that normally wears out. For environments with severe corrosive gases, also check the corrosion of brackets, suspension clamps, and tractors; take timely measures and apply anti-rust materials.    In the area where the busbar is used, if construction is underway, do not impact or crush the transmission conduit, and do not place heavy objects on it. Prevent deformation or cracking of the conduit, which could affect use and cause safety accidents. After construction, immediately remove construction debris from the conduit.    During normal maintenance, personnel should not step on the transmission conduit or its brackets to prevent damaging the overall flatness and causing accidents.

The current collector is the main device in the busbar system that picks up electrical energy on the collection side. It directly conducts electrical energy to the electrical equipment through sliding contact between the carbon brush and the guide rail, thereby achieving mobile power supply for the system. The current collector consists of two parts: a mechanical tension device and a carbon brush that directly slides in contact with the guide rail.

 

  Power Supply Methods

 

  When considering the power supply points for the safety busbar, the total number and total capacity of electrical equipment on the same span, the duty cycle, the voltage drop along the full length, and the environment should be considered (the voltage drop can be calculated based on the data in the previous guide rail parameter table). The following power supply methods are generally available for user reference: ①Single-end power supply; ②Middle power supply; ③Two-end power supply; ④Power supply at 1/6 from both ends; ⑤Three-point power supply at 1/10 from both ends and the middle, etc.

 

  Installation Instructions    Before installing the busbar, first fix the angle steel brackets according to the installation form selected by the user and the suspension spacing of the busbar. At the installation site, slide the required suspension seats onto each 6-meter busbar section, along with one joint cover at each end, and install one aluminum connector at one end. When installing the aluminum connector, note that only 1/2 of the aluminum rail should be inserted into the connector, leaving the other half for connecting the next rail. After these preparations, suspend the busbar sections one by one on the brackets and connect them along the entire line, tightening the screws of each joint during connection. If the total length of the busbar line exceeds 200 meters, expansion devices should be installed (our factory supplies these at any time). When connecting the power supply wires, they can be connected at the joints of each 6-meter section; refer to the previous joint device diagram for specific connection methods.    When installing curved busbar sections, the suspension distance should be shortened accordingly; specific dimensions can be determined based on site conditions.    When installing the current collector, first mount it on the matching square tube, then select an appropriate position that aligns with the busbar and fix it to the electrical equipment. Note that to ensure good tracking and contact performance between the current collector and the busbar, they should be installed in the same vertical and horizontal direction. Maintenance
