XQJ Series Cable Tray Detailed Introduction
Darui Electric recommends
(IV) Size Selection and Calculation
Calculation of Total Load G
G total = n1q1 + n2q2 + n3q3
Where: q1, q2, q3, ... are the weight per unit length of each cable (Kg/m)
n1, n2, n3, ... are the number of corresponding cables
G should be less than the allowable load
When installed outdoors or with a protective cover, factors such as water load and wind load should also be considered.
IV. Precautions
1. For the maximum load of DQJ type devices, the support spacing should be less than the allowable load and support span.
2. When selecting the width, some spare space should be reserved for future cable additions.
3. When there are few power cables and control cables, they can be installed together, but a partition should be used to separate power cables and control cables during laying.
4. When the cable tray is laid horizontally, the connectors between trays should be placed at about 1/4 of the span. Horizontally routed cables should be fixed every 2 meters, and vertically routed cables should be fixed every 1.5 meters.
5. The device should have reliable grounding. If the tray is used as a grounding conductor, the ends of each layer of the tray should be connected (in parallel) with 16mm2 soft copper wire to the main grounding conductor. For long distances, grounding should be done every 30-50 meters.
6. In addition to the shielding protective cover, when installed outdoors, a protective cover should be added on the top layer to prevent sun and rain.
If welding installation is required, the weld thickness around the weldment should not be less than the thickness of the base material, and the weld must be anti-corrosion treated.
(I) Scope of Application
XQJ Series Cable Tray is suitable for power cables with voltage below 10 kV, as well as control cables, lighting wiring, etc., for indoor and outdoor overhead cable trenches and tunnels.
(II) Structural Features and Installation
XQJ Series has the characteristics of complete varieties, wide application, high strength, low cost, simple construction, flexible wiring, standard installation, and beautiful appearance, which brings convenience to your technical improvement, cable expansion, and maintenance.
XQJ Series installation can be adapted to local conditions. It can be installed overhead along process pipelines; suspended under floors and beams; side-mounted on indoor and outdoor walls, columns, tunnels, and cable trench walls; and can also be installed on outdoor columns or supports. When large multi-layer trays are installed overhead or vertically, I-beam columns should be used as much as possible with symmetrical laying on both sides.
XQJ Series can be laid horizontally and vertically; can be turned, T-shaped, cross-shaped branches; can be adjusted in width and height.
(III) Layer Arrangement of Cables on the Tray
1. In the layer arrangement, weak current control cables are on the top layer. Then general control cables, low-voltage power cables, and high-voltage power cables are arranged in order from top to bottom. (See table below). This arrangement is conducive to shielding interference, cooling of power cables, and convenient construction.
2. The distance between layers is:
Control cables ≥200mm
Power cables ≥200mm
Mechanized laying of cables ≥400mm
