
Sliding Contact Line Collector Carbon
Sliding Contact Line Collector Carbon is used to conduct current from the sliding contact line to the electrical equipment. The current collector is installed on the collector bracket, which is mounted on the moving equipment. As the equipment moves, the carbon brush on the collector moves within the sliding contact line, ensuring uninterrupted power supply. The capacity of the collector must match the capacity of the conductor. Typically, collectors are available in specifications such as 100A and 250A. When the capacity of a single collector is insufficient, two collectors can be connected in parallel on the same conductor to double the capacity. The carbon brush on the collector is made of copper-containing carbon base pressed material, which is tough, pressure-resistant, and has good electrical conductivity. It also has certain lubricating properties. When worn to a certain extent, it needs to be replaced promptly.
