Detailed Information of JDC Multi-level Sliding Contact Wire Current Collector
Multi-level Sliding Contact Wire Current Collector
The sliding wire current collector (carbon brush | electric brush) is the main device for picking up electrical energy on the collector side in the sliding contact wire system. It directly conducts electrical energy to the electrical appliance through the sliding contact between the collector brush and the guide rail, thereby realizing mobile power supply for the system. The sliding contact wire current collector consists of two parts: a mechanical tension device and a collector brush that directly slides in contact with the guide rail. Sliding contact wire current collectors, power receivers, power supply devices, and conductors. Multi-pole sliding contact wire current collectors, single-pole sliding contact wire current collectors, and combined sliding wire current collectors for single-pole row type sliding contact wires. (Industry: sliding contact wires, sliding wires, sliding conductors, sliding mobile power transmission and supply)

(1) Product features: 1. Safe, compact, and easy to install;
2. Good universality, easy to configure spare parts;
3. Low price, economical and applicable.
(2) Usage environment: This series of sliding contact wires is suitable for machinery factories, shipyards, steel structure factories, power plants, various warehouses, steel plants (such as the main electrical rooms and roll grinding rooms of cold rolling mills and hot rolling mills), and places with ambient temperatures below 85°C.
(3) Main technical parameters of the guide rail (same as DHH type)
(1) For the equivalent coefficient under different working conditions, refer to our company's sliding contact wire selection guide.
(2) Since the conductive capacity is determined by the cross-sectional area of the conductor, while ensuring the same cross-sectional area, taking into account mechanical strength and effective heat dissipation, the actual supply may have changes in external dimensions; the above data is checked when FC=40% (do not repeatedly calculate the FC coefficient), and the tolerance of the conductor cross-sectional area is not greater than ±5%.
(3) When the power supply distance is short, the working frequency is low, and the environment is good, use the DHG (J) series or DW series.
(4) Note: When the crane works frequently and the working current is large, it is easy to cause arc burns on the conductive stainless steel contact surface that cannot be restored, seriously affecting the service life of the sliding contact wire. Improper installation or configuration of the current collector (severe brush wear) can also cause the above problems. It is recommended to use JDU safe copper sliding contact wires or rigid body sliding contact wires.
