The sliding conductor is a new type of power supply system for feeding mobile mechanical equipment. The conductor is made of high-quality aluminum alloy profile with special formula, and its outer protective sheath is made of special polyvinyl chloride material, which plays a safety role in preventing rain, dust, snow, and electric shock.It has a simple structure and is easy to install and maintain, and is widely used for power supply lines of mobile equipment in mines, metallurgy, chemical industry, machinery, docks, freight yards, etc.
Mobile equipment needs to constantly change positions due to movement. At each different position, the mobile equipment must be able to obtain power at any time, otherwise it cannot continue to move. At this time, the sliding conductor came into being. Several conductors are laid in parallel along the running track of the mobile equipment and connected to the power supply. On the mobile equipment, a current collector that can take electricity from the conductor is installed. In this way, when the equipment moves, the current collector moves synchronously with the equipment and takes power from the conductor at any time to provide it to the equipment, so that the equipment can continue to move.
The main accessories of the sliding conductor include current collector, bolts, joint protective sleeve, hanging bracket, end protective sleeve, angle steel bracket, shifting fork, signal indicator light, and other accessories.
1. The current collector is different from the single-pole current collector. This type of current collector is composed of a slider and a current collector shell. The number of sliders is determined by the number of poles of the sliding line. Generally, the sliders are copper sliders.
2. The joint protective sleeve is used to connect each section of the sliding line. Conventionally, the sliding line is 6 meters per piece. In this way, each piece is connected through the joint protective sleeve.
3. The end protective sleeve is connected to the end of each sliding line to maintain the insulation of the sliding line and improve safety performance.
4. The hanging bracket is used to fix the position of the sliding conductor. One end of the hanging bracket is connected to the angle steel bracket, and the other end is connected to the sliding conductor.
6. Shifting fork. Many people may not be very familiar with the shifting fork. In fact, the shifting fork of the sliding contact line is used to fix the current collector. One end of the shifting fork clamps the current collector, and the other end is connected to the traveling crane, somewhat similar to the single-pole current collector bracket.
7. The signal indicator light is mainly used to display the current operation status and keep the traveling crane running normally.
