How to correctly select mold electric heating tubes? Mainly select based on tube diameter, length, and tube material.
1. The mold electric heating tube should be determined according to the mold hole diameter. For example, if the mold hole diameter is 10mm, the tube diameter of the mold electric heating tube can be 9.8mm.
2. The length of the mold electric heating tube is determined by the length of the opening.
3. The choice of tube material for the mold electric heating tube should be determined based on the working temperature of the mold.
Because there is a time lag in heat conduction between the mold temperature and the surface temperature of the mold electric heating tube,
(1) When the mold temperature is 150°C, the surface temperature of the mold electric heating tube may be around 300°C. At this time, the tube material of the mold electric heating tube should be stainless steel 304, which can withstand 300°C.
(2) When the mold temperature is 200°C, the surface temperature of the mold electric heating tube may be around 400°C.
